When we set our mind to having our own ostrich farm, our aim was to achieve a full vertical, a full
production chain. The first step to achieve this, was the selection of the perfect breeding materials.

These birds were imported from Romanian, Checz, Italian and German ostrich farms. We tried to select
our stock from the widest possible range. On our farm you can find birds with black and blue-necked
genetics.

Now we select not only on the basis of parental genetics, but also on the basis of strict
standards. We are the first in Hungary to chip and identify our breeding birds, so when selling, we can tell
the parental background of the birds and their egg yields going back several years.

Animals involved in breeding are fed separately from 6 months of age, and after a 2-step selection, only the best and most promising individuals can be included in our breeding system.

Breeding hens up to 24 months of age 200.000 HUF

Breeding hens over 36 months of age 350.000 HUF

Breeding males up to 18 months of age 180.000 HUF

Breeding males up to 24 months of age 250.000 HUF

Breeding males over 30 months of age 400.000 HUF
